4 1/2 stars for one of the great action movies and one of the best of the year of any genre. Theater review. Possible spoilers. I’ve confessed for a long time that I think that this franchise and Tom Cruise is every bit the equal of “Bourne and Bond.” The first 3 chapters were very good (4 stars) but still had issues, some involving characters and/or plot. The last 3 including this one were a step up and “Fallout” may be the best yet. I’m only holding back a half star because of the length of the film (2 ½ hours) and some plot holes.
